The Teacher Retirement System (TRS) board of directors met this week. ATPE Lobbyist Josh Sanderson attended the proceedings and provided a summary of rule changes being proposed, plus issues the board is expected to tackle in upcoming meetings. Do I have to be a teacher of record to get the HB 2 teacher raise?
My district is telling me I have to be a teacher of record / have a grade book to get the HB 2 raise, but that doesn’t match what I have been hearing about the bill—HELP!
